Bradley Stoke Ladies FC Scores New Kit
The 2017 season will start with a brand new kit for the Bradley Stoke Ladies Football team after the club secured a new sponsor.
Willow Brook Centre has agreed to offer its support to the local players by sponsoring the club and plans to work with the team and coaches throughout the summer the summer.
Centre manager, Andy Wynn, said: “This is a great way for the centre to show its support for its local community. We hope to share in the team’s success that we’ve no doubt the ladies will achieve.”
BSLFC was started in 2015 and plays in the Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League.
Coach, Martin Lee, said: “Bradley Stoke Ladies FC are very excited to receive the new football kit from the Willow Brook Centre. The start up costs for a new team are expensive, so receiving a new kit really helps the team with these costs.
“In its first two seasons in the Gloucestershire County Women’s Football League, we finished fourth and fifth. So, next season we will be playing good football and looking great now too. The club club is most thankful for the kind donation.”
The 11-a-side team welcomes new players, whatever their skills level. Summer training sessions are held on Tuesday evenings at Bradley Stoke Community School from 6.30pm – 7.45pm.
All training session are run by FA qualified level 2 coaches, who hold first aid training adn are FA enhanced CRB cleared.

Election debate put candidates under the spotlight
Ever aiming to be at the heart of local news and events, Willow Brook Centre and Bradley Stoke Radio hosted a debate with local candidates in the run up to this month’s general election.
Conservative candidate Jack Lopresti, Labour’s Naomi Rylatt and Liberal Democrat Eva Lily Fielding answered questions from members of the public at the open event.
The debate was streamed on social media and broadcast on Bradley Stoke Radio.
